Take out 10mm sockets and leave on the side unattended

Sod that! they will all go missing

All tethered back on their rails !

Otherwise I am sure your prediction would come true.

anybody know the best place to purchase a set of ratchet spanners :?:

I use Cromwell tools a fair bit and have never had any complaints, not sure if it is their own brand but I bought a set of "Kennedy professional" ratchet spanners 10mm to 24mm about 15 years ago and they are still absolutely bang on.

thanks Ian where are they based :?:

I believe they have a nationwide presence but I am lucky enough to have a branch less than 5 miles away in Bedford.

I am sure a quick google of "Cromwell Tools" will give you way more info than I can.

The catalogue is well worth rummaging through but please lock your credit card away first.

Don't come crying to me if you fail to heed this last piece of advice.

Good luck and keep us posted.
