......after a lifetime of service to Namby-Pamby Motorcycling! Because I got a Friend Request on FaceBook.........from TED SIMON!

(In 1973, sponsored by The Sunday Times, journalist Ted Simon began a 4-year, 64,000 mile solo journey travelling around the world on a 500cc Triumph Tiger 100 motorcycle. His book, Jupiters Travels has inspired many overlanders).

I had to block David Icke from Fb because he was always popping around at inconvenient times. And that Tedros Adhanom from the World Health Organisation because he never returned my socket set I lent him. And that Penélope Cruz because she kept DMing me nude pictures and phoning at all hours begging me to leave the wife.

Ted Simon? Pfft.

All I know is that you can never trust someone who has two forenames and no surname.

I was expounding that theory with a couple of the team at work once, complaining about a guy called Simon Craig, said that his parents did it on purpose just to confuse people & he continued to do so in the work place ......

They just stared at me ...

:tumble: :tumble: :tumble:

Then I twigged ..... their names were Julie Duncan & Mark Simon ..... whoops

Best one I ever heard of was Randy Sarah

Two of my favourites both work at the same lab in India that we occasionally do some work with: one is Raja Ramjeet, which I assumed was the Indian equivalent of Roger Ramjet (hero of our nation) and the other is Matilda Shithut.

There's another one then in the Scottish Transport Museum in Glasgow. I suppose one from the Long Way Round and the other from the South Africa run.
