XTreme
We've now had two months non-stop heatwave......40C+ most days!Hottest for 40 years apparently.......and there are numerous cases of people throughout the country dying of heatstroke. The only way to get a ride is go out early.......and keep moving! So I went up the lakes.http://www.motorcyclesport.net/xt/xt238.jpgToo hot to go on these.....http://www.motorcyclesport.net/pics/26715a.jpgWater looks good as usual.....http://www.motorcyclesport.net/pics/26715b.jpghttp://www.motorcyclesport.net/xt/xt239.jpghttp://www.motorcyclesport.net/pics/26715c.jpgView from the bridge! I've ridden along those trails at the bottom.....but obviously in more sensible temperatures.http://www.motorcyclesport.net/pics/26715d.jpgThe wall of the Dam!http://www.motorcyclesport.net/pics/26715e.jpgAnd then back along the canal paths......amazed there's any water in them!http://www.motorcyclesport.net/xt/xt240.jpgHere's a short vid!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcCL8qrbC6o

RantMachine
It does look very pretty, I'm jealous of the scenery. But I can go outside and not die, and that's something I value
XTreme
I've been here 10 years......so any British metabolism I ever had has long since gone! But this year has been really brutal......no let up whatsoever with temps still in the 30's at midnight. But on the bright side we'll all soon be on electric motorbikes... Instant torque.Water looks lovely, but I bet in the middle of the day it still isn't cooling enough for the body!
