XTreme Posted March 7, 2020 Share Posted March 7, 2020 Had to scrub the new front Tourance in today......so I chose some really rough surfaced roads to get it done.These happen to pass through the small village of Canales......which isn't the sort of place you see in tourist brochures cos it looks like all the buildings are falling down. It's seriously grim!It's said that back in the 1930's Franco used a lot of the land around this place as mass burial grounds.......as apparently he had a tendency to commit a bit of genocide now and then!There are haunted cave houses right across the region as well......again it's said that this is due to the bodies that have been buried below! I know you absolutely love it but it's not the kind of scenery that appeals to me at all and the road surface leaves a lot to be desired too . Sure does look good while I'm sat looking at torrential rain however I'm a ginger so can get sunburn in February so also firmly on Team Green. In fact I have been around the region where [mention]XTreme[/mention] lives and there is some fantastic roads and really quiet tooI would swap it any day for our overcrowded country!
