1980 Yamaha yz50

Hi

Just bought a bike as a restoration project and sourcing parts etc

It currently has no electrics I have a coil on order and understand this will connect to the spark plug and the flywheel etc. Can anyone advise how this then connects to the running/kill switch that is part of the throttle housing ? I’m trying to get a picture of it in my mind prior to the parts arriving

RTFM.

In short yes ....

If you have or can find the original owners manual they generally have the wiring diagram in them or Google the model with the words wiring diagram and that will give you the coloured wires that form this connection possible on the loom
