Having a great time (!)

#1 Post by TunnelEyes » Thu Oct 12, 2017 12:08 pm

ER Mot'd - tick
Cert. of Conformation in the post - tick
V55/5 waiting ready to go - tick
ER at garage for restictors - tick

But I've just moved and started a new job. Sorted the Cg's speedo, cleaned and tightened with help. Leave for first night of 3, didnt put locks on it foolishly thinking its been fine there for months, in a quiet area right in view of my parents house... attempted theft. Tried to cut the wires. Thankfully they were spotted but I tried to run it and it wouldnt run, although tried to start. It was dark and I was angry so having someone more knowledgeable looking at it tomorrow afternoon with me, but still. Last thing I needed with all the other fun stuff going on :c :crybaby:

Sorry to hear that, mate. Even if you do lock it, if somebody wants it then they'll take it - I don't mean to make you feel any worse. I live in constant worry that some little POS is going to try it on my Sprint RS - not that they'll get very far, because it's fegged at the moment.

Your best bet is to fit your own tracking device with a sim card inside it, that texts YOU the GPS if it is moved - because I doubt (judging from other people in the 'bikes stolen' groups) that the Police will do much. At least then you can round up a group of mates and go get it back.
Anything you can ride, I can ride better. I can ride anything better than you. "No you can't"; yes I can! "No you can't"; yes I caaannnnnnnnnnnnn!!!

I had my garage broken into and three bikes nicked. I got two returned, but the third one disappeared forever. Not much help from police, but my mates had a good look around. The third bike was shipped off to Denmark, according to police.

Just be careful. My cousin had his CBR stolen from outside his work. Came out to go home and all the wires were hanging out. Went back inside to phone the AA. Came out, bike gone.

The police dont care, but you would see a difference if it was their bike. I was told tjat my gold plated Honda would be in Denmark, so there wouldnt be any point lopking for it. The insurance cpmpany f*cked me over too.
