Its worth getting your service book stamped --> by a non-franchised, if your bike is still under warranty.

Most of the time, warrantys cover items that manufacturers know will not break anyway.

I think UK dealers are at the core of the problem - I reckon the Japs, for instance, are quite concerned about maintaining their reputation -- but the dealers are bothered about saving money & profits...

When I got my R6 I had 6 mths warranty left on it.....took it to dealers and they did aload of work on it for free.

Check this out.....My mate did the same with his R6 and they did around £2,500 worth of work on it including an engine rebuild !

Now that can't be bad in my book :)

Dealers are crap the bloody lot of them, most don't do what you pay for. I'd go to an independant specialist any day. They are normally ex-main dealer technicians and own their own workshop, so they do a good job as its their livelyhood at stake. :D

Well said matey!! Think you've hit the nail on the head there....

Yeh of course Edster, you do get a few good ones, but I'd only go to one if friends have had good experiences with them :D
