Bender Posted December 9, 2018 Share Posted December 9, 2018 I have never saved a lot by increasing excess, there is usually a sweet spot and when you go over it the policy reduction price reduces by negligible amountsIf your stuck with a high excess and not prepared to take the risk then I guess it could help. Just ran some quotes on compare the market and in my case I would save money, but only about a tenner after the extra excess insurance policy. Well worth checking though - everyone is different.
