Spray paint

Have no idea if this is in the right place lol 8-) but I was doing some spray painting and I had some left so decided to lightly paint the engine on the bike and it looks ace but know it's not going to stay like that when it get hot. What will it do will it just fade again or will it make a mess it's only a halffords can :thumb: :thumb:

Depends on what bits you've painted, and if you cleaned and prepared the metal properly, used a primer or not, but at the end of the day, if you're happy, that's all that matters :thumb:

To answer the question the hottest bits will fade first whilst the others will fade less, so you will have patches, I would imagine the middle would fade first, whilst the outer will have a not so perfect ring shape. Time will tell though.
