Is this from a motorbike?

Hi all. Long time rider, first time poster.

I was hoping someone could shed light on something that happened to me this morning coming into work.

Only a couple hundred feet away from where I park in the city, something pinged off my 2006 Kawasaki Z750S, from the front end I think. I could have just ran over a large pebble but it felt more like something came off from on the bike. I should have stopped there and then but I carried on and parked and walked back to where it happened to find whatever it was. Apart from a pink child's shoe, all I found was this strange little thing (pics in the links).

I'm hoping someone can shed light on what this is, or even if someone recognises it as something else so I know this wasn't it. I've had brake pistons fall off my bike before so I don't want to take any chances.

Thank in advance.

I've owned that same model of bike and don't recognise this part.

It has an O ring on one end so pushes into something, could possibly be a coil from an Ecig maybe. :?

E cig coil would have cotton inside of it, and probably would have the plastic on it as it would end up melting.

Judging by the grubbiness of it I doubt it has come off your bike as it looos like it’s been run over a few times

My thoughts were also that this is a piece of junk from an ecig or vaping device . If it was off your bike you would probably know about it .
