French media Lequipe are reporting that Michael Schumacher has been secretly testing the Ducati of Casey Stoner with a view of a wildcard entry for a motoGP race! They are saying a one race effort perhaps the Italian GP.

As much as I disliked the guy in F1 I figure I'd love to see him go for it in motoGP.................but just the once

sounds like a waste of time to me, I think when he had a go at Valencia he was 5 seconds off the pace of the front runners which I suppose you could say is quick good.

The problem is that most racers (WSS/WSB/AMA) could get a bike round the track 5 seconds a lap slower, even if he improves by 3.5 - 4 seconds a lap that last second is as hard to make up as three apparently.

Although maybe Ducati are looking into tactics to stop Rossi winning at Mugello, maybe they will get Schumacher to lap 5 seconds a lap slower and then when Rossi comes up to lap him, he'll do a Damon Hill/Jacque Villenuve on him  just kidding.
