New Cam Arrived!

#1 Post by XTreme » Wed Sep 11, 2019 1:43 pm

Been waiting three weeks......but it's finally here. It's a Drift Ghost X!

Seems to have good reviews everywhere......cost me €110 including delivery.

No way I'm paying €400 to have a Go-Pro box stuck on the top of my head!

Nice :thumb: Is that mounted on your topbox or your lid ?
Now we can look forward to sunny videos instead of pictures from you in January
If it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

I must look into getting something a bit more compact. My present set up gives me a stiff neck after a while .

Yeh......helmet mounted!

Good mount to swivel camera to the exact angle needed!

Smartphone app for it too.

Good choice of camera, I got the Ghost 4k, really unobtrusive on the side of my helmet, easy to use and captures some pretty footage :thumb:

Mindblowing range of options after using a cheapo Chinese bullet cam for years!

Bugger it......I'm leaving it on default! I just want to press a button and record!

Need to re-position the cam higher (can't show clocks for obvious reasons) and needs to be on the other side of the helmet.

Quality is a lot better than my old cheapo Chinese one though.

Nice bit of kit @XTreme . The roads out there look fantastic. Do you ever come across any cars there? :)

Not often.......pretty much used to having the roads to myself after 14 years here.

Not sure I'd be able to handle UK levels of traffic now.
