Gear shift indicator

Have rode a bike with one fitted,not sure what you have got but this one told you when you should be in a certain gear to match your speed,didn't really see the point tbh,but I do ride a vtwin so just rev and go regardless :lol: use your feet and count to six then back down again and you'll be right without it....who said men can't multi task :thumb:

Am also looking for a petrol gauge light as I don't have when on the bike either so it's tricky to know when to fill up without counting all the miles and working out what I've got in the tank

What year it is? Because I have an intruder and until the selector button broke there was a trip meter you could reset at fill ups then just fill up every 120 miles or so

:scratch: that's the same year as mine...


pressing the black button below the Speedo should flick it from the mileage to a trip screen, a long press should reset it

 

I've tried that but nothing, maybe faulty :?

tbf my switch broke so maybe it's a common fault :lol: if you find a cheap replacement switch let me know :wink:
