Tankbag
I frequently leave my bike on an Abba stand & wondered about making the stand lockable, first idea is a scaffold pipe or smilar slipped over the winder then locked in place. Any thoughts taa
fastbob
Well I guess it would work but it seems like a lot of hassle to put it all on and take it all off again every time you ride the bike. Great bike by the way. Hope someone doesn't have that can away as an act of spite at not getting the whole bike. I presume this is an extra security measure for using inside your locked garage. Westbeef
I imagine a common theif wouldn't have a clue what the stand is, or how to even get the bike off it

Oh ok, think the idea of converting an Abba stand into a non removable bike clamp would make a good visible deterrent.
Stu
buy a decent chain off these guys https://www.brindleychains.co.uk/collections/pewag-security-chains?utm_source=themotorbikeforum&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=themotorbikeforum bit of a review here https://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=63502chain it to a ground anchor or something Saves time and it will be locked up quicker than making something where it could go walkies while you are spending time making something At the end of the day if they want it they will take the bike while still on the stand
