Cleaning products that don't require water...

Recommended Posts

Weird question I know but, has anyone found some general cleaning products that don't need rinsing off but can clear crud off a bike?

My sister lives in a flat and I'm not sure if she has a hose point she can use so trying to work out ways she can keep it looked after.

Pump pressure sprayer similar to those used in gardens ..

Large version ie 10ltr or such .

That is what I used at my lock up, where access to water was a nearby tap.

£8 for a 7 litre one which would not be too heavy to easily carry.

Guys, that is bloody brilliant idea.

I'll get my sister some Muc-Off Products then as I know they work :)

Or you could take the vehicle to a watering point ..

Like the unfortunate member i recovered last night who in his inexperience listened to his passengers babble .. how they use this particular route all the time, and the fact that the ford which they had to cross has an average depth of 1.5ft-1.75ft during summer months and at this time of year its running at 2.5ft to 3ft .

Couple this fact with the car their in ... a 2007 mini .

Its now a very wet , mould forming immobile mini .

Hydrolocked engine and comedic water pouring out when the doors opened .

Tip .. don't drive through water higher than the lowest wheel nut .
