Loads of stuff like key sizes, pins, alloy vs carbide etc. Anyway is there any you can recommend? I will be using it along with a big chain when I get my new motorcycle. Yeldur Posted November 18, 2017 Share Posted November 18, 2017 My bike is relatively cheap so I don't use the highest security in the world, just enough to make people go "ah f**k it too much effort for cheap shit"That being said, I don't use amazingly trash stuff to secure my bike:https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/55957https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/55990Have used both for little over a year now, the disc lock began to run out of battery and was making a constant annoying noise so much so that I can't use it as I've lost my alan key for it (I have some more now and will attempt to get it open now lol)but they're both fantastic at what they do, the disc lock is very sensitive so it will go off relatively quickly, in rain you should leave the alarm off Never had anyone attempt to steal my 125 so I don't really have a lot of experience on that side of things, but both seem sturdy enough, at the end of the day, the purpose of a lock is to slow them down, if they really want it they'll get it, but you can make it a lot more difficult for em lol.
