Best material for a motorcycle cover

Recommended Posts

Can you suggest a good material for a motorcycle cover? I’m planning to buy one since I recently got my own bike. My brother and I found this waterproof motorcycle cover provider on the Internet, and they’re selling covers made from polyester. We also found a few stores that have covers made from thick fabrics. Which is the better choice

eBay is awash with these ridiculously cheap polyester covers and they are pure shite . I bought one out of curiosity and they are no better than a massive carrier bag . It's a con . If you complain they offer you half of your money back but if you stand firm you get a full refund AND get to keep it .

Try these, not cheap but apparently very good: https://www.specialisedcovers.com/bike-covers/ I agree with fastbob on the ebay covers, I bought one last year, it lasted me one trip to the Lake District then fell to bits, whatever cover you get make sure its breathable material, helps prevent rot from setting in.

I have one of these. Not the cheapest but certainly far better quality than anything else I’ve used. Far more durable than Oxford covers etc...
