I remember one of our cars when I was a kid had a dynamo and I gave my dad a hand switching the field on it from positive earth to negative by making sparks now that's old.

RememberWatching a young breakdown patrol a few years back attaching the booster pack clamps to a vintage car ....

Poor sod became a Welder and a fireman in one go ..

His Brain never retained that vital part of information that not all vehicles are Negative Earthed .....
