I passed mod1 yesterday 1st go, got my MOD 2 booked for the 25th of this month so 2 weeks. I can't get any lessons in next week as the instructor is away. Only had 1 lesson prior to doing my MOD 1. I'll be doing half a days training day before my test because instructor told me a I have a few bad habits to get out (I presume these have come from riding a 125 with others and copying them) I'm confident on the bike and my instructor says I'm ready for the test. But just out of interest how many minor faults count as a fail?

from UK gov website-

Your test result

You’ll be told if you’ve passed module 2 at the end of the test.

The examiner will make a note of:

dangerous faults - these involve actual danger to you, the examiner, the public or property

serious faults - these are potentially dangerous

riding faults - these aren’t potentially dangerous, but could become serious if you keep making the same mistake

You’ll pass module 2 if you make:

no serious or dangerous faults (sometimes called ‘majors’)

no more than 10 riding faults (sometimes called ‘minors’)

10? That seems quite a lot. I thought it was 5. I can stop stressing now.

Just wish I knew what my "bad habits" are, I'm guessing one of them is cornering speed, since I got told off slightly for getting right over round a tight bend and then near enough straight lining the next corner. But that comes from trying to keep up with others when I was on my 125.

Obviously i wouldn't do that on my test, I just forgot I had an instructor behind me on way back from test centre yesterday.

Adamjf82 I've just checked and the mod 2 check sheet is the same as mod 1 so if you have that have a look at what the sections are gives you s rough idea :thumb:
