LEARNER CBT. HELP PLEASE

Recommended Posts

A few things to consider, are you riding with L plates and not just on a driving licence entitlement if you have one, as a learner you can ride on any road except for Motorways and 50cc are not permitted on the motorways at all irrespective of licence type :thumb:

Yes mate. You're allowed to do this.

But you might consider how safe it is. I personally wouldn't ride a 50cc on busy dual carriageway*. This is the very reason I ditched my scoot, got a full licence and a 500cc (I had changed jobs, and my commute changed with it).

* I don't know what part of the A13 you want to use, so this might not apply

Not all dual carriageways allow learners/50cc so look for signs. If i remember correctly a few of the overpasseson a13 near Purley don't allow

Can't find anything on t'interweb, so unless it is specifically classed as a Motorway like parts of the A1(M) then i doubt there are any restrictions :thumb:

As far as I can remember there aren't any 50cc restrictions in the A13.

However, as has been posted above, riding a 50 along there isn't necessarily a good idea - most of the road is fast and busy, and Essex drivers take no prisoners!
