I am very new to riding and have had a few problems with my bike over the last few months.

I have a 2010 Honda CBF125-M, The warning light has started flashing (8 Rapid Flashes).

I was wondering if anybody has the Haynes Manual and would be able to tell me what the Error Code would be?

Thanks :)

I had a look at that earlier and it varies between long and short flashes so not sure whether that is what it represents.

If you could have a look in the manual later it would be greatly appreciated :)

Ok I think long flashes count for 10, so you need to count how many long flashes and then how many short.

It could be many things, so you'd have to get that information first.

E.G if it was 2 long flashes and 6 short it's code 26.

Here you go, I hope you can read it. I’ve taken on my phone so it’s nice and clear when I zoom in a bit. It gives all the info on how to read the codes and clear them too. From the bottom half of the first page and all the second :).

I'd start by cleaning up the connections, and then maybe replace the sensor. They're not too expensive second hand.

They're used on quite a lot of models of Honda, part no - 16060-KWF-941.

If the sensor was truly buggered though it sounds like it'd lose power, so someone with some experience of that issue may be along to help :thumb:
