Acid
Hey guys,I'm new to this forum, I'm desperately trying to get some replacement parts sorted for my bike, the problem is, the exact identity of my bike is making it very difficult.I am the fourth owner of a Suzuki GZ125HS Marauder. It's NOT a real Suzuki model, the GZ125. It's a cheap copy made by a company in China. When it was imported quite a few years ago, it was illegally registered as a genuine Suzuki GZ125 07 model. That's no longer an issue, but it does create other issues. I'm trying to find replacement sprockets and a new chain, and there are a few parts on websites such as Wemoto, but they only have an 05 model category listed. I don't actually know what year the bike was made, and the guys at the garage weren't sure either. I'm sure it's pretty close to the 05 and 07 models from comparing images. I've tried contacting the original company, but I've yet to get a solid response. If anyone is familiar with this bike, and happens to know if a sprocket set and chain for an 05 model, would fit most, if not all the HS models then that would save me! Otherwise I don't know what to do. I can't think of why they would change the sprocket and chain set significantly between models, if at all, but I don't want to take any chances! It looks just like this:http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f239/I_L_Empire/Marauderbanner_zps0d136315.jpgThanks for reading this.
Hoggs
hello! maybe measure size of sprocket and count the chain links (tedious I know). if you have 132 that's what a marauder should have otherwise just reorder at whatever you've countedgood luck! ThePhatomfart
Hi, as you can tell this differs from the Suzuki gz125, if you look at the front brake disc, its on the other side from the real one, the forks therefore are different , but if you have a look at this it could help, but be careful about the front and rear sprocket, I think the front could be different on the splines than the real one, give these a call they might have the HS ones http://www.brooksbarn.co.uk/GZ125HS_B24BRM.aspx
