my Honda xr125 ,has been behaving its self this last few weeks until yesterday when it decided to chuck petrol all over the garage floor , put new pipe on as the old one was split but it still does it once the petrol is turned, on once its started the leak stops

any ideas

Give the carb bowl a few gentle taps with hammer handle / screwdriver handle to see if this cures it ( can dislodge the piece of crud thats causing the float to stick /

Vigorously bouncing on the seat also does the trick some times. :-)
