mike_1984 Posted August 22, 2017 Share Posted August 22, 2017 so i was gonna fit a new odometer as my stock one dosent light up on a night, opening it up today i found its just a blown bulb *sigh* anywho easy fix so having looked at this new ododmeter that has arrived the wiring is completley diffrant to my current oneso here is the pics, is this a lost cause or as im guessing a lot of soldering and messing about i do plan on installing it in future when i have more time as im not too bad with electrics household anywho lolMike.the red wire goes to the erm block? Mr Fro Posted August 22, 2017 Share Posted August 22, 2017 Dude, I picked up a similar Chinese-o-tactic jobbies and have hard wired it in.My top tip for the day is ignore the wire colours as some of mine weren't right. Instead use the position in the relative plugs given by the "manual".You won't use about half of the wires as they're for stuff your bike doesn't have.
