Is that, or was in that bikes case a Honda CBF250?

I remember them, and wanted one when I was 18 as a commuter but you so much as cough too hard and the valve clearances would go out of spec. And I mean waaaaaay out.

Was this bike in daily use or was it in a scrapyard ?

Presumably a daily ride. Wasn't there the next day so if certainly runs..

Seriously thinking of building a website called ShitBikesOfSantorini.com

Do you think the owner would have been full of pride seeing someone photo their bike?

Little do they realise its being mocked on here.

Maybe that's his hack and the decent bike is at home?

Or that is the decent bike and he has a bigger nail in the garage

...I'm going to go out on a limb and say the owner of that bike would give exactly zero f**ks

No, that’s paint protection film to stop stone chips and scratches, it’s obvious when you look at how well it’s been cared for, they’ll get it back on the resale value, at least an extra magic bean or two.

Local scooter hire company had new bikes delivered yesterday. I saw them arrive and watched them open the crates as I was curious to see what bikes they were.

Today the crates are still exactly where they left them!!.. imagine living in a place where it's ok to leave brand new bikes sat out overnight without fear of them being nicked!!

Its not very big but judging by the condition of many bikes you could easily just nick one and stick any old number plate on and nobody would know..

So many beat up old cars and bikes they cant be too bothered by MOTs tax insurance etc..
