" Hayabusa Gen1 RY.

Running REALLY RICH.

Has had,

Fuel pump n all filters changed.

New OEM fuel pipes.

Pressure regulator.

Plugs n caps/ coils.

Throttle position Sensor.( set to centre line on readout).

K&N panel filter.

Standard pipes n scorpion carbon cans.

Standard apart from this on engine. 63k miles.

Running very rough at idle.

Black smoke from exhaust on start up.

Hesitates on pick up if given loads n engine wants to die on upshifts.

Any ideas appreciated.

Is it flooding all the cylinders or just one? Quick plug check would tell.

Throttle bodies balanced and set correctly relative to tps?

Electrical system ok,not over or under charging?

ECU?

Bad earths?

Valve clearances?

Bit of a long shot; cam timing ok,not got a worn chain or anything?

Did it start running rough just one day out the blue or was it a gradual event?
