yzf R6 crash bungs

They need to be held by an M10 bolt normally. Drill pilot hole until it's in exactly right place, then drill full size hole. Do not use M8 bolts, the bracket will bend and crack your fairing. Pix of your bike would help. Take fairing off to find fixing bolts.

Hi peeps

Quick question the 2016 YZF R6 R&G crash aero bungs do you need to mod/ drill fairing? or can any one suggest ones where you just screw in?

If you go to the R&G website and put in your bike etc, it will tell you what is available and when you click on what you want ? Upper or Lower bungs.

You can then view the fitting instruction for the bungs. :thumb: Hope that helps.

Or you can buy cheap ones on ebay etc that fit to the fairing, and if you crash you take the fairing off with the crash bung

I would like to second that . I used to sell R&G crash bungs and I can tell you that they never compromise on the location even if it does require a large hole to be cut . It that's where the bike hits the ground , that's where the bung has to go . Anything else is just decoration . Anyway, you will be pleased to learn that no drilling or cutting is required.

It's almost as if they though about it. ;-)

You mean Yamaha ? It does look that way.
