noctrl Posted September 20, 2019 Share Posted September 20, 2019 Good morning All,I had this issue last year and with the change in weather it has returned; the indicators on my Honda VFR800Fi are temperamental on cold mornings/evenings. The switch itself isn't sticky, but when actioned there will often be no indicator action for a minute, then the relay clicks and off they go. Sometimes I get a single click then back to nothing.Given this only happens in the cold weather my thoughts are a sticky relay more than anything else as will be original (2001). oldgrump Posted September 22, 2019 Share Posted September 22, 2019 Hi [mention]noctrl[/mention] , I've been using Vfr 800 for year's now, and some winter's mine play up, I just keep spraying the inside of the switch with electrical spray, and that normally sorts it out.Never replaced the relay.
