What model was it?

The suzuki TS 50, 1990 version i believe

When did you buy it and how much did it cost?

From a dealer in Southampton for £800

Good points?

Very comfortable

Feels stable

Great cornering

Nice acceleration

Small storage area under the seat for spanners, screwdrivers and other small items

It's a 2 stroke but sounds like a 4 stroke under 7000 rpm, then a respectable 2 stroke after that

Fantastic for offroad as well as on. Has easily enough power to get past most problems in 2nd gear

Great fuel consumption (Costs £9 to fill a full tank and that lasts me for 120-140 miles or so) 80 miles to the gallon if i remember right

Bad points?

Has some problems with the engine when driving in the wet

Power (For a 50 its pretty speedy though, 45 mph is the top you want to go, otherwise your thrashing it)

Would you get another?

Without a doubt

Any other comments

The gears are 1 down 5 up

A fantastic buy for any 16 year old with a provision license (and has done CBT)
