I'm always on a mobile during the day as I don't trust work not to spy on my posts so I don't ever login from work machine.

Bit don't worry, i'll manage... I have a plan...

the thing is Joe if I aren't happy about them then I do something about it as I am on my mobile all day too

My OCD is kicking in about the "Unanswered posts Active topics Your posts New posts Unread posts" on mobiles as it goes on to a second line!

I might hide one or two when in mobile to make it neater

Yeah those are the ones I use the most. Make them as little icons instead of words and they'll take up less space. Space them out for fat fingers though!

On mobile the title "The Motorbike Forum" takes up a lot of space. Shift it over to the left and put the links in the same row to the right above the little profile pic and bell & envelope.

Active topics is my main 'go to' :D

Don't use 'your posts' at all!

Far too much time on your hands!! Lol
Also lost the donate button on mobile. Shorten the page title to just "TMBF" for logged in users and you get even more space.

easier said than done

doing that would mean serving the same code twice for each link! which is not good

Yeah I wanted to hide the donate button on mobile the TMBF is not a bad idea I could maybe speak to Ollie to make me a small logo

It's quite common to have multiple ways of achieving the same action on one page, so having the same like twice isn't that unusual?

The links are static anyway, no fancy dynamic code required..

Unread

New

Yours

Etc..

With a nice little TMBF logo on the left, plenty of room for these on the right. Use icons and even more space.

just for them links it uses three different files!

you would serve them twice on each refresh and hide and have to hide them on the full site

they arent just a link in one file they include the language file a common file and styling too

I will sort something out with them though just give me a bit of time

but keep the ideas coming :thumb:

EAB I noticed links posted when it didn't work still open in the same tab... New links (and indeed links posted from before the update) open in a new tab. So in theory this one should open in a new tab
