Richard Posted September 5, 2011 Share Posted September 5, 2011 I bought a TnT in 2007, the lay out is as follows:- ( £8700 now about 7500)3 cylinder1130 cc135 Bhpapprox 150 mph top speed.PositivesIn my opinion great looking (read as marmite, you either love or loath)Great grunty engine. The triple has the best of all formatsYou always know where you park it ( nothing else looks like it)Great handlingNegativesHigh service costsPoor fuel economy in high power mode (not that good in low power mode)Poor residual unless you stay with dealership.Over 150 miles in a day was V painful to the backside.Sounded like it was a diesel train.Group 17 insuranceThe Cafe Racer (9700pounds)was exactly the same engine but looked better it also has a bit of carbon on it. It has clip ons and is more comfortable for longer trips. I toured Normandy France on one.I did approx 9 K miles in three years on the two and truely enjoyed the bikes.
