Oh a new section.

I own a Red Ducati 749R, I bought it in May 2010 and at the time it had 4400 miles on the clock and atm i have put 1200 miles on it. It cost me £7600 from Ducati Manchester in Sale. The bike is on a 54 plate and was made in 2004.

To say that they are unrealiable would be unfair but the exhaust has fell off, the top of the spark plug burnt out and i have had many problems with the clutch oh and it cuts out a lot.

But lets not forget this is a race bike and not a road bike so needs constant looking after and lots of love. Being a race bike the power is distributed perfectly unlike any other bike i have rode, the ride although uncomfortable at first is perfect when your riding fast. This is the only bike i have ever rode that corners like its on rails. The breaks and the suspension are the best and the noise from the termi exhaust is deafening.

I have been thinking of upgrading to a 1098 R or maybe a 1198 but funds are low atm. I would recommend everybody atleast has a go of a Ducati at some stage in there life.
