Harley Davidson Fat Boy 2018

Post by Grumpy Old Git » Wed Aug 29, 2018 8:56 am

114 Fat Boy (2018)
March - £14,500

Good Points:
Comfortable
Very good acceleration
Gear Indicator
200+ mile range
Handles very well
Screen / Pillion Back Rest clip on/off in seconds
Low vibration
Came with the 'Sreaming Eagle' Air Intake and Exhaust upgrades
Brakes effective (with ABS)
Lighting good
Fitted USB outlet

Bad Points:
You have to fill the tank slowly to avoid spillage
Fairly weighty - You need to park sensibly
Reach slightly too long for me - I'm going to get 'pull-backs' sorted over the winter.
Battery very difficult to get to
USB outlet rather low down (front frame tube)

Yes I would buy this bike again!

Superb!

Loads of dosh!

And, it stops quite quickly - decent 'pots' and a large disc. (Oh and ABS).

They must have improved in the last 20 years then, but I guess all bikes have.

At least they aren't 8' wide. And they are great for posing on the King's Road, especially with the screaming eagles exhaust.
