For Sale: KLX250 with loads of farkles

Back in England for the last time, which means this thing has got to go!

Kawasaki KLX250, 18 months old, 6751 miles, excellent condition with full service history. Predominantly used for road miles, but with some green laning in the mix too. The The bike has been fitted with all the extras I could lay hands on:

Delkevic 350mm silencer, which sounds amazing and reduced the weight by a few kilos (the stock silencer is also included in the sale)

Kawasaki sump guard (the smaller bash plate that comes with the bike is also included in the sale)

Acerbis Rally Pro aluminium reinforced knuckle guards

Rental bars with bar pad (original bars included in sale)

Aftermarket folding levers, anodized green (original levers included in sale)

Also note the aftermarket seat cover, screen, and folding mirrors shown in the last photo - although not fitted at present, these can be thrown in at no extra cost if wanted.

Bike is in really good nick, love the thing to bits so I've kept it clean and ACF50'ed and garaged when not in use. Only ever had some minor spills in mud, with no damage inflicted. There's a scuff on the bracket of the right hand knuckle guard thanks to being knocked over in a car park, but no other notable marks.

Run in procedure was followed to the letter and servicing is 100% up to date and has all been carried out at the original dealer (Colchester Kawasaki), logged accordingly in the service book and on the USB History Key provided by Kawasaki. I've got receipts for the few other bits of work (Tyres changed and a spike adjustment). Tyres are both fairly new on, front having done less that 1,000 miles. it's currently got a Conti Escape on the rear and a Conti TKC80 on the front; gives it plenty of grip on loose surfaces while offering much better grip on roads (and much less wear) than using a full knobbly. As noted in the description, the bike is still under its manufacturer's warranty.

You know you want to! Perfect time of year for it, just a few weeks until most of the byways get closed to landrovers for half a year and you can go as nuts as you want :thumb:

I've got some kinder bars and a half pack of ginger nut biscuits.

Sounds like stu is getting the "mates rates" as even that little fredo bast*rd costs more than 30p.

Haven't got any definite dates yet but looking at roughly six weeks, I think. That said I've given the bike a really thorough health check and clean ready for selling it so I won't be riding it any more; just the CG from here onwards. So looking to sell it any time, really!

Fair enough.

What are you doing with the CG by the way?

I have since got my exact dates
Visa interview in six weeks (and counting), then the paperwork gets to me 2 to 3 weeks after that.
The CG is going to go on the market too (although I did hatch more than a few schemes involving dismantling it and shoving it in a suitcase), but I can't sell it until the 11th hour - need some way to get around until I'm done here!

Out of interest, what would you be wanting for the CG when the time comes?

Kinda near MK45 - the bike is in Cambridge, in the northern part of CB4.

Probably thinking £650 or £700? Trying to remember what I paid for it, don't want to be ripping anyone off

I was kinda thinking the same thing.

Is it the flat tank version Ollie?

Yup - flat tank, kick start only, front and rear drums. It's the 12 volt model, not the old 6 volt. As simple as it gets, and my god I'll miss it.
Just did a full service including valves in a couple of hours in my kitchen while chatting to a housemate
