pauly Posted October 24, 2015 Share Posted October 24, 2015 Owned these boots about a month now, obviously I'm still to test them in the harsh weather of winter but so far they are great! I bought them because I needed the extra height in the heels but they are the most comfortable boots of any type I've ever owned - to the point where I wear them upto 14hrs a day solid (so thats a lot of time I've worn them off the bike, and about 30hrs on the bike), they dont "look" like bike boots particularly so are fine with day to day clothes as well as bike gear. Nice and warm, good protection, the only complaint I'd have if I have to be really picky is that the zips have no sort of cover at the top so in theory I guess you could scratch the bike getting on if you were really unlucky. As for the benefit of the heel, which was WHY I got them (honest!) - I was worried I'd not get good grip through them but the heel is chunky so i can put all my weight through the heel if needed and not slip.
