Drift Ghost 4K - failed

Recommended Posts

That's the thing with the Drift. It has so many good design features but is just badly put together; it's really frustrating.

I've just ordered a mic for the drift after chatting with Rob, hopefully that may solve the crappy sound issues. They do a waterproof case for the drift 4k but I believe the drift xl is supposed to be waterproof without a case?? I agree with you though in it being frustrating, it's a real shame that a biker didn't take it upon themselves to design one specifically for bikers, take all the good bits from all the cameras and roll them into one.

What is needed is collaboration between a helmet and a camera manufactuer to design and build a helmet with on board camera :thumb:

It's been done

Too much tech, all you need is a decent lens and cmos sensor, a decent battery and a decent size storage allowance and a simple on/off switch :thumb:

Maybe you should just cary a sketch pad and a pencil. If you find the pencil a bit high tech you could just take a lump of coal and a sheep 😁

I was looking for a Drift camera but the only one that seemed to be waterproof was the XL and since I live in Glasgow this was a must.

Unfortunately it was out of stock everywhere I looked.

I eventually found it at https://www.motolegends.com/.

The display is way too small to be easy use. Drift has a mobile app where you can do all the settings alot easier.
