Guest
Hi everyone. Newbie here in swansea. Just got my bike and want to get it running right and looking tidier. Problems I got are leaky forks, mucky carbs and when I engage gears the bike cuts out. I know the first two are gonna be professional jobs but if anyone has simple ways of diy I'd be grateful. Stu
well the bike cutting out is easy its your sidestand switch it will be stuck the other two depends really on how mechanically minded you are
RicKsTa
Fork seals are easy to replace and side stand switch should be simple too. Carbs are ok to work on if your feeling confident, its not a massive job!
Guest
Thanks for the advice. Dont think I am technical enough for the carbs, but would love to try the fork seals myself. Are the you tube vids any good to follow? Another question, I have rubbed down the fairings, what primer do I need and where can I get it from. Thanks again.
