Hi all, a newbie here. Just starting my lessons and have been given a old bike that's bin standing (££££££ pits I know, might as well buy something cheap) but it's more for the fun of it the tinkering, it's a custom that he built out of 3 knackered bikes at the time, a gsx750efe engine, gs550 frame, and gs1000 forks, all bikes were from the 80s that he used but can't remember the exact year.

So I assume it'll be the usual suspects for a standing bike, well rust for a start, but new fluids oil break etc, might need new forks, gaskets chain drive and plenty of elbow Greece. I do most of my shopping online due to working nights, can anyone recommend any sites I can look at for parts, most the work I've done is the odd bit on 125s. Used to working on cars, in theory same principle with out all the technical sensors cars have I guess. Fuel spark engine should run. Any sites other than eBay, didn't seam to come across a great deal whilst looking on there.

Thanks for reading

Gav
