Well here it is my dtr project thread will start off with how it looked when I picked it up

Your plain run of the mill 2001 dt125r non runner so out with the engine to start the rebuild and while I was at it came across a job lot of parts which included some dtx forks and wheels

http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/7da1d19e822ece1fe9002b91de37a0c5.jpg

Then when the engine went back in I decided to spruce it up a bit with a lick of paint some new panels, headlight, dep exhaust, digital dash ect ect and this is how it stayed for a while

http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/c0be9f0d836511468f7efde519f2099e.jpg

Then came mot time and I knew the fork seals were leaking so off came the forks so I could fit some new seals http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/c187d55a3294b6cf931250abc486f789.jpg

While they were off I thought I may as well tidy her up a bit

Oops went a bit to far, so out came the tools and stripped and sprayed the frame and things started to go back together http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/aff7cde0e3f1970fddf6360c9906b282.jpg

Then ended up with most of it all back together when I decided I might change a few bit http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/15b4b74db461561f54cf38b6985a51c6.jpg

So after scouring ebay I stumbled across a few yz 125 parts and thought it would make a nice suspension up grade http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/31928491b626106fb07c35aa7b9729af.jpg

So set about stripping the bike again to try and fit the forks and yokes so with a little fettling I managed to get them on

http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/18365be8f792f09ca20f3856bd367a94.jpg

So then came to getting the dtx sm wheels to fit couple of custom spacers, inserts and spindle and the front was almost done http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/08f4bbfb07b5e524327b4ae8e9137923.jpg

So thought I would move onto the back to see what I could do there so a lot more scouring through eBay and I came across a nice yz 250 alloy swing arm and thought how hard can it be http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/0fdd2e044da012cda42b0adcec31328b.jpg

So while waiting on more custom bits to fit the rear swingarm I decided to test fit the dtx rear wheel which to my disappointment was not going to fit in the yz swingarm, so off I went to ebay again to try and find a solution a lot of time and money later I found onehttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/b52046cbf613ad568fe176dddd24129d.jpg

They came in the form of some yz/wr supermoto wheels, then came the fun of sourcing more parts like discs, sprockets, chain ect http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/82f311e7eeb6f03321ca5118f6dc8453.jpg

And this is basically as far as I have got at the moment as waiting on more parts http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/03/3a337baff3260f0a9d2af317e818370a.jpg
