Guest Posted September 17, 2015 Share Posted September 17, 2015 hi im new to this forum, can anybody tell me if the drive shafts on a gt550 are the same as the gt750.I am rebuilding a trike that i bought that was in realy bad condition so i have had a new chasis made and have recondition the old reliant axle which is now excellent, i need to extend the drive shaft and the only way i can see is to use 2 drive shafts end to end but having trouble finding one. Have come across one off of a gt550 but want to know if it is same diameter and length as a gt750.Any help much appreciated.Cheers Gizmo...... eastanglianbiker Posted September 17, 2015 Share Posted September 17, 2015 rather than weld two together and mess about getting it all balanced again it will be easier to use the front of the gt shaft and mate it to a reliant propshaft and then get that balanced will look much neater as well when all done Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
