Advice needed - OLD French import with no paperwork

Recommended Posts

Hi - I am seeking advice on a bike I am to purchase very soon. The guy purchased it from a guy in France but I am told it has no paperwork. It is a Ravat from 1946. Any advice for me - will I need to seek a European Certificate of Conformity or a Mutual Recognition cert or a MSVA from VOSA etc??

Would appreciate any pointers from other guys who have Ravat125 or experience with the issue outlined in my query please - Thankyou.

Hi, I robbed this off another site it might be of use, hopefully they won't mind, there also links in there to the DVLA

Seems you need to get in touch with the DVLA as soon as you land it, to avoid paying a daily penalty for failing to notify.

Best of luck keep us posted.
