Looking for some advice....

Found a bike that's currently going on ebay, bids currently stand at £102 however it needs a fair amount of work which i have no problem doing. There's a guy i know that can do it for me but im not able to speak with him for advice for at least 2 weeks so wondered if you guys could help me out. Yes it sounds cheap but with all the work it needs doing (if you read the description its all listed) will i still end up with a bargain????

Cheers in advance

Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=282116047824&globalID=EBAY-GB&alt=web" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'd be concerned how storage causes gear change issues

The steering lock is broken, previous theft? Accident?

Brake caliper seized, can you get them?

Then its chinese...

Its not impossible to repair and get back on the road, but i wouldn't

what the ad doesnt say is that chances are it will need 2 new tyres as they will of perished while being stored,cables will of gone dry and will start snapping soon after starting to use it again it needs chain and sprocket and simply t he fact that it hs unknown gearbox problems i wouldnt touch it,it will become a money pit very quickly
