Yamaha SR 125 Project

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a Yamaha SR 125 that I am going to turn into a Cafe racer. The engine is the main issue as I had a brand new engine rebuild that was then heat seized by a friend but that's another story. I can't rebore the barrel anymore due to it being done to its limit before. I would like to know if there are any either 2 stroke or 4 that should fit on the same mounts without the need to alter the frame. Or would it be worth to go for a 250cc and upgrade the breaks and suspension??

get a liner put in the engine

:stupid:

Get a liner fitted, not many engines at all these days that will take a rebore

Try these people massive reputation for relining, porting and tuning of2stroke engines, a straight 4 stroke single should be no problem
