Clue:

It is not at the right angle; there is more (to the left in the picture); it is on a 'chain case' (pre-unit?).

I’ve woken up fancying Jaffa cakes! I wonder what that means the biscuit gods of fate have lined up for me today..... probably a trip to the supermarket to find some stale cakey tasting weirdLy orange dolloped biscuits.
They are CAKES - The clue is in their name.......

I think Ginger Nuts improve if the lid is left off the biscuit tin for a day or two thus allowing them to become chewy . On the other hand , if you prefer a crisp biscuit then the addition of a few sugar cubes to the tin will absorb surplus moisture. That's what my grandma believed anyway. 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪

I’ve never had biscuits make it out of the packet into a tin. Thats something made up for TV!

@Grumpy Old Git I say cakey tasting because they don’t taste of cake either!

That was a fellow journalist’s first impression of the BMW R nineT recently. It’s a pretty accurate summary; the R nineT is somewhat ill-mannered by modern motorcycle standards but also instantly, inarguably, infatuatingly wonderful.

I'm changing my mind to possible
Swedish manufacturers Monark ...
at first i thought it was
possibly a Bicycle engine due to it size
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
