RD125LC parts

Recommended Posts

Hi!

My RD125LC gave up a while back. Finally got time to look into it.

Big end bearing has gone, broke up and damaged the piston too in the process.

So going to restore the engine now. But before we start buying parts, wondered if anybody had any advice on the best place to buy them. I’d rather get original or even higher quality replacement parts.

Pattern parts might be alright sometimes, but for the heart of this engine, I’d rather focus on quality.

Thanks!

Stevo

Welcome to the forum.

Couple of places spring to mind for the crank rebuild.

Try Fowlers or Yambits for parts.

Genuine or pattern will be down to your budget but yes I'd agree genuine would be best.

I rebuilt my RGV engine last year, new genuine crank and pistons don't come cheap.
