Last summer I decided to go for it and buy what I’d wanted.

Honda CBR1000rr6 Repsol

Previous bikes were;

BMW F650

R6 5EB

ZXR750H1

R1 4PW

CBR600F4i

Forgot one - Triumph Sprint ST 955

And from my misguided youth, Yamaha FS1E and a Kawasaki AR50 (which was promptly and unofficially modded to an 80cc)

Is that it? Just pictures, tell us what it's like and what you think of it.

Ok ok... :)

Absolutely brilliant, more than I could have hoped.

Delivers power smooth and consistently through the range, Gear change also smooth and crisp. And surprisingly light....

After a lot of research and viewing different bikes, I chose the Honda Fireblade 04 to 07, I love the styling, especially combined with the Repsol Graphics.

All this being said, with 175bhp I haven’t been anywhere close to the bikes full potential. I love Superbikes, but I don’t race round the streets and generally coast along at more sedate speeds.

Only negative points, suspensions seems very hard, and on steady acceleration it appears to ‘pink’ a bit.

She only gets Shell or BP ultimate....

It’s also fitted with a Yoshi can and PC3

Looks good that, hope you still love as much after a few months as the sports riding style and hard suspension do take some getting used to
