There should have been an honesty box somewhere.

There wouldn't be much in it on the south bound side .

Thats because you pretend Scottish money is not legal tender.

I do know what you mean, the thick woman in my work canteen wouldn't take Scottish money. I used to love having a big wad of Scottish one pound notes .

If your going to struggle to reach 60, your choice of routes is large. From my experience of doing longer journeys on smaller roads the biggest issue with using smaller roads will not be speed as much as navigation.

As an alternative to google this can make a good route planner. One word of cautious, its not scared of town centers. Which I have grown to like often it takes takes a couple of minutes longer to wonder through a town center and something ads to the ride. Always worth consulting for different ideas.

I did notice that the new bank notes did not attract any attention the last time we were down in Yorkshire. Maybe the extra tech in the notes means people are more confident in them. Even Clydesdale Bank notes did not get a second look.

Unfortunately she is within her rights to refuse.

Years ago in Leamington M&S and House of Frasier were about the only places that would accept them.

I don't tend to have any problems with Scottish notes at home in Yorkshire.

We do go up a fair bit so quite often have them in my wallet and think nothing of it.

As an aside. There is a museum in edinborough. The RBS I think it is, just down from the tourist shite heading towards princess street which is all about the history of pressed and printing money.
