Recommended Posts

We are looking for travel friends for a tour in Morocco between the 29th of December 2016 and the 9th of January 2017.

The tour is thought for maxi-enduro and crossover and includes mixed routes: e.g. road, dirt roads, sandy. We will touch on historic cities like Fez and Marrakesh, charming villages like Chechaouene, Imlichil, Quarzazate, Zagora, and we will pass by the historic valleys of Todhra and Dades and by the areas of Djebel, Sarhro and Jabel Bani.

This is the link to the map. It is just an overview, to give an idea of the kind of journey. We are working on the details.

What do you mean with… “to bring a package back”?

It was a joke as you said it was free, nothing is free in life.

Someone has to pay to get the bikes there or hire bikes, then there's the accommodation, fuel, etc etc

Its a bit short notice... just over 7 weeks away. but that aside.. assuming you can take the time off and have the cash to hand so soon after christmas - theres the journey down to the Ferry at Algeciras. !,300 miles from Calais in the middle of winter and very short days.

there are ferry places to Santander etc. available - cheapest i can find is about £400 return for a single with bike

Have a great trip - it looks like an amazing tour.

I guess you know to watch out for the snow: the roads in the High Atlas can be closed in bad weather.
