Kids Ride-On cars 6v - 12v.....

Got my two kids these toy cars that can operate either via remote or the pedal. Both are operating by 27MHz remotes. The problem I'm having is they both operate while using one remote, which is annoying and unsafe in my opinion. After a little research I know I need to change the frequency.


Any savvy minded bikers on this forum who can help? I'm confident to take things apart and swap bits over if necessary but I need some guidance.

You will need to change the frequency crystal in the transmitter and receiver. They come as a matched tx and Rx pair.

But 27mhz are available as fm and am.

The crystal is probably the metal can in the lower picture top left. See if the frequency is on it.
