Today I have sold my beautiful ZX10R - having had a top offer from WeWantYourMotorBike.com this was because my (I think excellent) vigilence was tested on Saturday, and I am ready to bow out.

Therefore the following is all available at reasonable prices but it will be collect only from Glemsford in Suffolk:

Abba Stand - with spigots for the above bike.

Front and rear Paddock stands with hooks.

Optimate charger.

Helmets:

Shoei Raid helmet in black, blue and silver and white, size 58cm.

Schuberth C3 Pro in white, size 58cm (medium)

Schuberth C3 in black, size 58cm (medium)

Yes, I know used lids are generally frowned upon, but these are better than many other helmets.

Clothing:

Mens:

I am a 40" chest, 34" waist, and 29" inside leg.

Black leather Jacket - with "Kawasaki" in white across front.

Black leather trousers by Wolf - pretty much match the jacket but don't zip together.

Red / black Wolf leather jacket and trousers that do zip together.

Textile trousers by Buffalo - these are for a 32"inside leg.

Waterproof textile trousers by City of Leather - for a short leg, but still quite long on me.

Hein Gericke Textile Goretex Pro Shell jacket, black. Cost new £500!

Hein Gericke textile summer jacket fully vented,

Black and gold soft leather jacket with "Kawasaki ZX10R" embroidered in gold thread on left front. Matches the bike - made bigger for me across the back to be able to wear

Forcefield Pro 2 back protector size medium.

Lewis leather jacket black.

Spada leather jacket blue and black.

All the above have armour in them.

Soft leather jacket, padded but no armour, blue and white with "Suzuki" in large letters across the front. Pockets inside ready for armour.

Klan heated tabard - working last time I used it but not tried for 5 years now.

Sidi boots size 43 blue and black I think they're Veritigo. Well used but still serviceable.

Alpine Stars boots size 44 in black and red - less use so better nick

Sidi ankle boots size 44 in black and red worn 3 times so in almost new condition.

Ladies:

2 piece textile Ixon suit in black - to fit a 10 to 12. Very little use.. Wife's.

2 piece Rukka Goretex suit in blue with some black. To fit a 12 to 14 (Sis in Law)

Throw over panniers - black unused.

Tank bag black.

Tail bag black.

PM me for phone number if you want to discuss - I am open to offers.

Oh no, what is happened?

Although I am 68 - I don't think I am an old biffer - well not quite yet.

I was on a local B road with a lot of twists and turns and lots of small rises and drops. As rounded a shallow left I knew there was an entrance to a property coming up on my left.

Old biffer in his ancient Rover nosed out a bit too far before looking my way. He braked after I did. No panic or butterflies even - but having enjoyed 35 years of biking on many superbikes and supersports bikes with never an accident, I thought maybe my luck was beginning to run out. So before it does, I recognised my limitations and bit the bullet.

I'll stick to my AMG for now.

Sorry to hear that Clivefa. But glad it was no more than that. Enjoy the AMG

I hope when I get to 68 I'm in a position to decide it's time for me to stop riding sportsbikes!

I decided at 61 I could not be comfy on sports bikes any more. :(

Sorry to read this Clive, have you considered an outfit ? I met a guy a few weeks ago 87 years young rides most days, he turned up on his ZRX1200 with a beautiful Watsonian GP sidecar.

Either way, you’ve got your AMG

Well, I have tried uploading to tinypic.com - I get a line saying upload sucessful - but then another saying image has been moved or deleted. I can't see any image.

How the f*** do I do this?

Or where else is easy to use?

Sorry to hear you're quitting, why not just get a low performance bike like an er5 or a Royal Enfield . I ride a GSXR 1100 and an ER5 and I'm tending to be drawn towards the ER5 more and more as I get older . I'm reluctant to admit it but I get a bigger grin on the ER5.

I would never ride an outfit. All the disadvantages of a bike and a car. Respect to the bloke of 87.

IMGUR, really easy . Upload the pic , go to "get embed codes " select the one designed for forums , pin to clipboard , write a reply then attach. Easy.
